Cremation provides families with numerous options for a final resting place. At Sewardstone Park, our dedicated crematorium allows families to hold the service and cremation within our peaceful grounds.
Our crematorium provides a calm and dignified setting for farewell, with facilities designed to offer comfort, privacy and flexibility for families of all faiths and beliefs.
Following cremation, ashes can be collected, interred in a marked plot or scattered in our Stumpery Garden. You may also choose to hold a memorial service, with or without the urn present. Sites for ash burial in Daws Meadow include lawn and wooded sections, helping you choose the area best suited to your loved one.
Our areas for interment can be memorialised with a wooden engraved plaque and a small vase, and we offer a thoughtful range of biodegradable urns. The Sewardstone Stumpery Garden provides a peaceful and serene setting for those who wish to scatter ashes. Whatever your faith, beliefs or cultural practices, we offer the flexibility to celebrate the life of your loved one and choose a final resting place in the way they would have wished.
Losing someone too soon is probably the hardest thing I have had to deal with however, Claudette and Rita were professional, understanding and compassionate. They made the process, personal and seamless which made it much easier to deal with. I would recommend Sewardstone Park Cemetery & Crematorium in a heart beat and to top it off, my beloved sister rests in the most beautiful setting.
